Light golden salmon pink color; floral nose; peach, apricot, citrus, raspberry on the palate.
Very fresh, round, and delicious; light in the mouth with good acidity, balance, refreshing lemon zest on the finish. Blend of grenache and cinsault; the grenache provides the fruity softness, cinsault the lively freshness.
The winery is located on the coast of the Mediterranean in the classified site of the Fort de Bregancon; closest familiar city is St. Tropez. The microclimate provides soft, daily sea breezes that buffer the vineyard from frost in winter and heat waves in summer. Agronomist Francois Devictor started the 103 acres operation in 1980; brothers Remy and Oliver Devictor run the vineyard and winery today—and they are very hands on, doing most of the work. The winery recently was extensively updated and upgraded.
Very tasty, a quality rosé perfect for summer sipping. $15-20
