Bright, light pink color; vivid passion fruit, peach, flowers on the nose; peach, orange peel on the palate.
Cru Classé de Provençe is made with 40% grenache, 40% cinsault, 20% syrah; delicate but rich, concentrated, persistent flavors with finesse; nicely crisp acidity. Certified vegan (no animal products—caseine, gelatine, fish-based glue); organically farmed.
Château Sainte Marguerite faces the Mediterranean between Toulon and Saint Tropez, occupying 250 acres dotted with palm trees and ringed by a pine forest. The château was created in 1929 near an old farmhouse on land cultivated since antiquity. It earned the prestigious Cru Classé classification in 1955. In 1977, Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard purchased the site in a fund raiser for the Foundation of France; the sale financed a musical prize of the former owner, thus the Symphony name on the label.
This is delicious high-end rosé; dramatic bottle; impressive elegance from classic rosé region of France. $33
