Very light straw green color; lemon, citrus, pear on the nose; lime, apple, pear on the palate.
Bright, crisp, lively; juicy flavors; dry, some minerality. Australia is excellent climate for pinot grigio with its heat and lack of rainfall, thus forcing the vines to work (Italians have the opposite problem and have to struggle to restrain their vine vigor, which leads to flabby flavors). Excellent value-for-price play. $8
