Maison Saint Aix is more than 130-year-old winery in southern France, in rural area of Mont Sainte Victoire, where the light inspired both Paul Cézanne and Vincent Van Gogh to create some of their most famous works. Mistral winds help protect the vines and grapes, drying them after rain or dew. The owners consider it the perfect place to grow grenache, cinsault, and syrah—and this effort helps support their claim.
Superb example of classic, delicious Provinçe rosé. $19-22
